Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children

The Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children project is major expansion of their historic Delaware campus. Phase one of the 450,000sf expansion opened in 2014 and includes all private, family-centered patient rooms, expanded family amenities, collaborative team spaces and a new Emergency Department.  Mason Building Group completed the cast-in-place concrete, exterior wall and interior construction contracts.

Citizens Bank Park

The Philadelphia Phillies' major league baseball stadium was completed in early 2004. During the 2 year construction schedule, Mason's work on the 43,500 seat ballpark included the acoustic ceilings, specialty metal ceilings, interior partitions, millwork, and carpentry.

DuPont Grille

The informal cafeteria-style restaurant is located on the lower level of the Hotel DuPont in Wilmington, Delaware. Mason's work included the selective demolition, tile flooring, drywall, specialty ceilings, counter, cabinetry and bar tops.

Milford Transfer Station

Located in Milford, Delaware, this new 10,000 square foot building was constructed on an 11 acre plot where residents and commercial haulers can dispose of waste. Mason was the general contractor for the project, which included havesting of forested site, placement and finishing of structural concrete foundation, and installation of pre-engineered metal building with structural steel trusses, 125,000 gallon fire water storage system, 85,000 gallon leachate collection and storage system, and highway improvements, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Appoquinimink High School

AHS, located in Middletown, Delaware, opened in the fall of 2008 as a 1,600 student high school. The construction included an auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria/common area, library, computer labs, music rooms, and a "Main Street" Lobby. At AHS, Mason Building Group held the drywall and general trades packages.

Cherry Hill Mall Renovation and Addition

The renovation and expansion of the Cherry Hill Mall was completed in 2009. A substantial portion of the project was aerial platform work consisting of 40' soffit framing and dropped drywall radius ceiling features throughout the mall. Acoustic ceilings, GRG columns and doors, frames and hardware were also installed during the 2-shift project, which required working around pedestrian traffic. Logistics and safety were the top concerns for the project.
